About

ABOUT THE CONFERENCE
The objective of the conference is to bring to focus the recent technological advancements across all the stages of data analysis including acquisition, processing, and communication. Advancements in acquisition sensors along with improved storage and computational capabilities, have stimulated the progress in theoretical studies and state-of-the-art real-time applications involving large volumes of data. This compels researchers to investigate the new challenges encountered, where traditional approaches are incapable of dealing with large, complicated new forms of data. The conference shall present the most recent achievements and developments in the areas which are at the forefront of research including intelligent data handling, representation learning, multimodal data processing, 5G network technologies, parallel / distributed data storage and analysis, quantum communications and computing etc. In addition, articles describing novel applications in the domains of medicine, remote sensing, security and surveillance which address the current needs of society using advanced algorithms of Artificial Intelligence, Machine and Deep Learning, Evolutionary Optimization etc. shall also be included in the conference.

ABOUT THE INSTITUTION
Maturi Venkata Subba Rao (MVSR) Engineering College, an Autonomous Institution sponsored by Matrusri Education Society, was founded in 1981. Over the years it has grown in stature and is presently acknowledged as a premier technical institute in Telangana. The college offers B.E. Degree courses in Civil, ECE, EEE, CSE, CSE (AI&ML), CSE (DS), CSE (IoT & Cyber Security including Blockchain Technology), CSIT, IT and Mechanical Engineering disciplines. The courses are affiliated to Osmania University and are approved by AICTE. The college is NAAC accredited. The college also has Post-Graduate courses in M.E. [Mech - (CAD / CAM)], ECE (Embedded Systems & VLSI Design)], M.Tech (CSE), M.E. [Civil – (Structural Engineering)] and MBA. The college is also a recognized Research center for Ph.D. (CSE, ECE & MECH) by Osmania University. The college is an Institutional member of several professional bodies.

With a belief in the power of collaborative endeavors, DAPCom - 2024 extends an invitation to distinguished academicians, scientists, researchers, industrialists, technocrats, government representatives, social visionaries, and experts from diverse fields to unite for a more impactful and professional outcome. The DAPCom team envisions hosting special sessions covering a wide spectrum of expertise within the various tracks, all centered on related themes. These specialized sessions will be overseen by accomplished experts from various fields.

The presentation of papers within these special sessions will be strategically scheduled, over any of the two days (dates to be communicated in advance) during the conference. Selected papers will gain acceptance for presentation and inclusion in the Soft Copy of pre-Conference proceedings, slated for publication on the Conference Website.

Moreover, all presented papers will be submitted to Taylor & Francis for comprehensive publication and indexing. This ensures a broader dissemination of the valuable research contributions made at DAPCom - 2024.

This special session would explore the exciting intersections of Machine Learning (ML), Internet of Things (IoT), and Computer Vision technologies. It would delve into the synergies between these fields to create novel solutions and applications. The breakdown of the focus areas are as follows:

• Applications of ML: This part of the session would showcase innovative applications of ML in various domains, emphasizing real-world use cases and their impact. Topics could include Natural Language Processing, Speech Processing, Soft Computing, and Evolutionary Optimization, with a specific focus on how ML enhances Data Acquisition, Processing, and Communication.

• IoT: The session would delve into the role of IoT in data acquisition, processing, and communication. It would explore how IoT devices and networks are collecting and transmitting data, and how ML and Computer Vision can be used to extract meaningful insights from IoT-generated data. Topics might include Industrial IoT, Securing the IoT, and IoT Applications in Computer Vision.

• Computer Vision: This segment would highlight the significance of Computer Vision in analysing the visual data. Topics could encompass Computer Vision and Robotics, Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR), and their applications in Data Acquisition and Processing. Additionally, it would explore how ML enhances Computer Vision Algorithms for better accuracy and efficiency.

By combining these three critical areas – ML, IoT, and Computer Vision - this special session would facilitate discussions on cutting-edge technologies and applications that have a profound impact on Data Acquisition, Processing, and Communication in various fields, including industry, healthcare, and beyond. All papers submitted to DAPCom-2024 must adhere to the conference paper template and formatting guidelines provided below. Papers that do not follow these guidelines may not be accepted.

Plagiarism Policy:
We want to maintain the highest standards of academic integrity at DAPCom-2024. Therefore, please be aware that plagiarized papers will not be accepted for the conference.

Plagiarism Check Process:
To ensure the originality of content, the DAPCom team will be conducting plagiarism checks on all submitted papers using Turnitin and other similar tools. As an author, it's in your best interest to use plagiarism detection tools like Turnitin, iThenticate, Viper, PlagScan, etc., to check the plagiarism level of your manuscripts before submission.

Submission Instructions:
- - Prepare your paper using the conference paper template and adhere to the formatting guidelines.
